Brilliant distinctions

Brilliant Distinctions is a “reward” program created by Allergan, the makers of Botox, Juvederm and Kybella.  Simply Bliss will add “points” to your Brilliant Distinctions account once you have received a qualifying treatment.  The points can then be redeemed for discounts within our practice on future treatments.

What are the participating products within Brilliant Distinctions®?

Patients can earn points and redeem rewards for the following Allergan products and treatments:
     BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA)
     JUVÉDERM® XC
     JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC
     JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC
     JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC
     KYBELLA® (deoxycholic acid) 10 mg/mL

When can patients begin earning?

Once registered, patients can begin earning and redeeming immediately by visiting a participating provider.

How do patients sign up for this program?

Joining is easy. Patients can join the program by:
Visiting BrilliantDistinctionsProgram.com on any desktop computer or mobile device and clicking on Become a Member at the top of the home page

How do patients access their Brilliant Distinctions® Account?

Once a patient signs up for the program, they can log in at www.BrilliantDistinctionsProgram.com. There, they can access information specific to their account and redeem rewards for Allergan savings (qualified patients only).

Is it necessary for a patient to have more than one account if they go to more than one participating provider for their select Allergan treatments or products?

Each patient can have only one (1) account, but can earn and redeem points at any participating provider. For example, if a patient lives in another city for part of the year, as long as the providers at both locations are participating providers, points will be earned and rewards redeemed for eligible product treatments and purchases. If a patient has more than one account, please contact Customer Support at (888) 324-2745 (9 AM–8 PM ET, M-F) and request that the profiles be merged.

How does a qualified patient receive points?

Once a provider issues points for a treatment or product purchase, the patient will receive the points in their account 48 hours later. The patient can utilize the earned points as early as their next treatment or purchase

What are the benefits of each of the membership tiers?

Brilliant Distinctions® offers its members three different tiers with more benefits and savings opportunities at each tier.

Silver – Patients are automatically enrolled here when they join and will receive special discounts on the qualifying products within the Brilliant Distinctions® Portfolio as well as a free gift on their membership anniversary.

Gold – Once a patient earns 600 Brilliant Distinctions® Points in one calendar year, they will receive all of the benefits of Silver as well as the ability to earn 50 bonus points on every treatment.

Diamond – Once a patient earns 1200 Brilliant Distinctions® Points in one calendar year, they will receive all of the benefits of Gold but their points will never expire as long as they maintain their status. They will also earn 100 bonus points on every treatment.

How often can a patient earn points for BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM® XC and/or JUVEDERM VOLUMA® XC and/or JUVEDERM VOLLURE™ XC and/or JUVEDERM VOLBELLA® XC, and/or KYBELLA® 10 mg/mL treatments?

Patients cannot earn points for a BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment more than once every 90 days, regardless of the number of treatments or areas treated. Because treatments with KYBELLA® (deoxycholic acid) injection 10 mg/mL should be no more frequent than once a month, patients receiving a treatment less than one (1) month from their last treatment or more than six (6) total single treatments will not be awarded points. JUVÉDERM® XC and JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC treatments have a 12-month rolling syringe cap of 8 syringes with 1 treatment per 24 hours and 4 syringes max per treatment. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC treatments have a 12-month rolling syringe cap of 8 syringes with 4 syringes max per treatment. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC treatments have a 12-month rolling syringe cap of 8 syringes with 1 treatment per 24 hours and 4 syringes max per treatment, regardless of syringe size.

If a qualified patient receives BOTOX® Cosmetic, and/or JUVÉDERM® XC, and/or JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC, and/or JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC, and/or JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC, and/or KYBELLA® injection 10 mg/mL, will they receive multiple points?

Points will be issued by the provider for each treatment and purchase. At the end of the transaction, an itemized list of the point breakdown will be displayed.

How does a patient redeem points?

Once a patient signs up for the Brilliant Distinctions® Program, they will be able to access the program home page. This page provides the patient with their treatment/purchase history and offers them the chance to redeem points for dollars off future treatments or select Allergan products (qualified patients only). They will also have the ability to donate their points to charities from this home page.

Is there a dollar limit when creating a reward?

Rewards can be created for a maximum amount of $100.

What should a patient do if they don't have a printer?

If printing is not an option, patients can either write down the reward code listed on their created reward, or utilize the Email feature that displays after a reward is created. This will allow them to send a message to any email address that will contain all of the information needed by the provider. If the patient is on a mobile device they can also download a reward to their mobile wallet from either the mobile website or the Brilliant Distinctions® Mobile App. A patient’s unused rewards can be viewed when issuing points for a treatment or product purchase in the PATIENT SPECIFIC CODES section.

Do rewards expire?

Rewards expire nine (9) months after the date of the last time a Silver or Gold Tier member earned Brilliant Distinctions® Rewards. Diamond member rewards do not expire as long as they maintain their Diamond Tier status.

Can patient points be reinstated after they expire?

Points cannot be reinstated after they expire, but patient's will receive an email reminding them of the date of expiration.

Can a patient give their points to someone else to add to their account?

Due to regulations, points are nontransferable. Federal government regulations (HIPAA) prevent us from allowing joint accounts. Each individual patient is welcome to have their own individual program account

Does the program provide the patient's name or any other information about the patient's treatments to anyone?

Names of the program members will not be sold to or shared with anyone not participating in this program. No information will ever be provided to anyone about treatments, with the exception of participating providers and customer support personnel in order to help patients resolve any issues or answer any questions they may have.

Is anything ever sent to the patient's home address?

This program is designed to allow all communications with members to take place via the Internet and email. Nothing will ever be sent to the patient's home address without their permission.
